I think that was one of the best posts ever. Many times ppl are too hung over micromanaging when its the big picture that matters. As long as the majority (80-90%) of the time you're eating healthy ; then the occaisonal cheat or treat doesn't hurt at all. and life is about living and we have to enjoy life ever so often. How many thanksgivings' or christmas dinners do we get to enjoy life? Not enough. Don't ruin it by counting how many ounces of turkey or potatoes you can have to stay on track. Indulge, enjoy, live life and jump back on track the next day or week.

As someone who is new to Crossfit and the zone, I loved this article. I once thought I'd eat strict then when I hit my weight/ physical status I'm happy with I'll cheat and work out just to maintain. Then I realized I never want to stop improving. I just try to eat right most the time. Usually a night of drinking each week, and normally sat and sun I eat off the zone for most of the days. But heck, I'd rather do something I can stick with then torture myself for months and end up failing and gaingin weight back.good article
