Why do you call it Peruvian cuisine, when more than half of it is not Peruvian,
Italian, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese.

It maybe cooked with some local Peruvian ingridients but the basic is not PERUVIAN.

If you are eating Chifa ITS CHINESE ISN'T IT
If you are eating tallarin verde ITS ITALIAN ISN'T IT.

I am a Peruvian girl and I have to tell you that Peruvian cuisine is considered one of the most diverse in the world and is on par with French, Chinese and Indian cuisine. Peruvian cuisine combines the flavors of four continents. With the eclectic variety of traditional dishes, the Peruvian culinary
arts are in constant evolution, and impossible to list in their entirety.

This makes me want to visit Peru!
Haven't commented on them before, but I'm enjoying the "Traditional Diet" pieces quite a bit. Thanks for taking the time to do these!

Yes!!And his response was:
.... the Traditional Peruvian diet article was DEAD ON accurate. A refreshing thing and I can tell the writer did his research. You should’ve seen the atrocities some people make. For instance, I remember once when a food writer had listed quesadillas as a popular Peruvian dish. Could not be more far from the truth.
